The setting? A rest stop during an autumn bike ride on rough roads. A bright sun casts strong shadows across the dry, gritty road. Today the road is icy in places, muddy in others, but soon, I hope, it will be dry enough to ride there again.

 
We love our bikes and everything that goes with them, right? And we never tire of looking at them. At least I don’t, and if I’m to judge from what others tell me, I’m not alone. So each Sunday I’ll publish a bike related picture. Winter has grown tiresome, but summer is some time off. How enjoyable would it be to ride without studded tires crackling on the ice? Even a fine warm drizzle would be pleasant right about now.
