Blue jays are feisty, cheeky, scrappy, and puckish. They like one another’s company, and travel in flocks. They’re careful to maintain their roguish countenance, but sometimes they treat you to a touching moment. Here a male gives his mate a gift of a kernel of dried corn. Spring is in the air!
