There’s something particularly satisfying about using muscle power to bring home the groceries. It takes longer to get back home than when driving a car, but in a car I’m not as likely to enjoy the pine-scented air, or the whisper of the breeze in the treetops, or the churring of red squirrels as they tell the world what’s on their mind.

 

 
We love our bikes, right? And we never tire of looking at them. At least I don’t, and if I’m to judge from what others tell me, I’m not alone. So each Sunday I’ll publish a bike picture. Most of the time the picture will be a photo, but I’ll also include drawings, paintings, sculptures, and any other representation of a bike or bikes.
