How can you find a better day for cycling than this? The deep blue sky is puffy with cumulus clouds, the deciduous leaves are within a week or so of peak color, the thermometer registers mid-60s, and the breeze is light. A freshly oiled drivetrain spins without effort on the gentle grades, and the geese are flying overhead. Who wants to head back when the weather and scenery are so fine?
