You Don’t Have to Go With the Flow!

 
Water moves us, and moving water moves us even more. Paddling photographers are always on the lookout for trophy shots, photos that capture the challenging chaos of a rapids or evoke the placid processional of a broad river. Nature photographers are no different in their goals. But it’s hard to express a sense of motion in a still photograph. The nub of the problem is easy to see: Still photos freeze the action.
